Our aim is to empower the visually Impaired children, so that they get access to schools for quality education and skill development. We have been working towards this initiative in order to help them without any discrimination of caste, colour and creed. We hope to make them capable and self-dependent.
A huge number of youngsters in India are out of school, working in risky conditions, living in the city, overcoming yearning, neediness and brutality. Adolescence for them has become an interminable battle to endure. The Mission Education program of, “The Power Of One Welfare Foundation” is such that, the students from remote towns, innate regions and urban ghettos, are all given quality training. Moreover, our vision is to also take care of their wellbeing and sustenance. All this aims to bring in some improvement through our support in co-curricular activities. In this era, education is one of the most powerful weapons which can certainly break out the chains of poverty, inequality and child labour. Our motive is to spread awareness and provide education to the needy for the betterment of their future.
“The Power Of One Welfare Foundation” wishes to spread the message of environmental protection by planting more and more trees. It is very evident that the nation as a whole is facing a lot of issues due to pollution and urbanisation. So, by planting more trees and keeping the city green, we will contribute towards our aim of reducing pollution. Our main goal is shed some light to the criticality of this condition, thereby aiming towards security of nature and its preservation so as to work towards a manageable green world. We are taking these steps to invalidate the ecological imbalance, brought about by the mankind on the loose.
Health is one of the most overstressed topics for the country. “The Power Of One Welfare Foundation” has been running surveys in many parts of the city, especially in the rural areas. We have discovered that major health issues are caused by malnutrition and lack of clean water. Our chief motive is to eradicate hunger issues and to provide clean drinking water to these people.
It’s been 6 years that the country is “Polio-Free. But we still have many who are, “differently abled”. So, our mission is to motivate them, spend some quality time, build their self-confidence and comfort them with our regular visits and fun activities especially arranged for them.
It’s unfortunate to see beautiful and intelligent people with mental incompetence. It is defined by an IQ under 70, which is also known as borderline impaired. It is a disability of helping oneself and lack of self-care skills. Dignity would surely help them to improve and uplift themselves. We are concerned about the welfare of differently abled people and therefore wish to drive in some welfare activities for them.
Child Labour is one of the major worries of the country. Many children are forced for child labour due to poverty, illiteracy, unemployment, etc. We focus on making children aware of their rights, acquaint them to basic living facilities and train them so that they don’t get mentally, physically or socially abused.
Rather than looking at the society superficially, we are keen towards looking into grass root level of the society. Food wastage, being one of such issue has now become a global problem. An enormous amount of food is lost or wasted every year across the world. Nearly 40% of the food produced, gets wasted, according to United Nations. Feeding the unprivileged for a non-profit motive is our primary aim and we make sure that our team adheres to this. Our team arranges many initiatives to feed the hungry so that they have a proper and balanced nutrition.
Women empowerment, according to us is all about strengthening women across the society and allowing them contribute for the society by their upliftment. We believe that only acknowledging men for their good work is not a correct practice. Women empowerment initiatives will help us in achieving gender equality and move faster towards the development of the country. Therefore, we as an NGO wish to motivate women to become self-dependent and stand up for themselves and their rights.
“The Power Of One Welfare Foundation” aims to contribute something for the senior citizens so that they are economically and emotionally strong and are able to live a happy and active life. Shifting the needy and the homeless seniors to their new homes (Ashrams) is top on our priority list. Spending a day with them and getting to know their requirements and interests make us happy and satisfied. We aim to encourage the elderly citizens to volunteer for such initiatives to engage themselves and other seniors in this noble act.
